Studying Life at the Source
Field work is an integral part of my research. I view exploring nature outside the lab as a key component of understanding evolution within the greater context. Field work naturally attracts young talent, serving as a stepping stone to biological research. Many of my lessons and publications involve experiments performed in the field, a trend I hope to continue.
